- Community Care Access Centre
CCACs connect clients and their families to the services they need to keep them at home for as long as possible by connecting people to high quality health care services. Connect with a Case Manager at your local CCAC to talk with you about your needs, answer questions about what CCACs can provide, and inform you on what’s available in your community.
- Waterloo Home Support
The Waterloo Home Support Services Program assists frail, isolated or marginalised adults to live safely and to remain active in the community. This is accomplished by assisting in accessing day-to-day community resources.
- VON P.A.T.E.R. Program (For Cambridge)
A partnership between the First United Church and Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) serving seniors and adults with a disability in Cambridge and North Dumfries who are unable to access public transportation and have no family or friends able to assist with their transportation needs. Volunteer escorted transportation provided for medical appointments, banking, grocery shopping and social rides. Priority given to medical rides.
- K-W Seniors Day Program
K-W Seniors Day Program is a regional based, volunteer driven organization dedicated to helping seniors maintain individual health and wellness, a higher quality of life, and self esteem through a variety of group programs. Our mission is to promote wellness and dignity to seniors with physical, cognitive and mental health challenges through the provision of activities, socialization, nutrition and quality care.
- Alzheimer Society of Canada
The Alzheimer Society arranges or refers people to support groups that provide a safe place to share information, thoughts, feelings and experiences. We help people find programs and services they need, such as day and respite programs, home support and help with the difficult transition to long-term care.
- Crisis Services of Waterloo Region
The purpose of Crisis Services of Waterloo Region is to provide crisis and risk assessments, ensure access to a range of resources and support options, facilitate necessary connections to treatment services, develop community based intervention plans with the individual and crisis and their natural support network, and develop connections within the available community services.
- Grief Support Group
Lists not-for-profit resources thatoffer either individual or group bereavement support services. Some services are offered free of charge, while others are “fee for service”offered on a sliding scale. Please inquire when you call.

- Developmental Services Access Centre - Waterloo Region
The Developmental Services Access Centre - Waterloo Region (DSAC) is the single point of access to developmental services in the Region of Waterloo. We assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their caregivers in connecting with community services and supports. DSAC is administered by Sunbeam Residential Development Centre, with office space in Kitchener, Cambridge, and Elmira, Ontario.
- Community Care Concepts
Community Care Concepts provides high quality support services throughout the Townships of Woolwich, Wellesley and Wilmot. This enables seniors and special needs clients to remain as independent as possible in their own homes. Community Care Concepts is a non-profit volunteer based organization.
