For list and escorted shopping, the client is ideally matched with the same volunteer every two weeks. Until a regular shopper can be found, the client must call in to book a fill-in shopper.

The shopping bus runs every Monday and Thursday. The bus travels to the Food Basics on Fairway Road on Mondays, and the Food Basics on Highland Road on Thursdays.

Please give a minimum of three days notice for shopping. Those interested in the Shopping Bus need to be assessed by one of our Care Coordinators before this service can be started.

You can book a fill-in shopper or an assessment by calling the transportation dispatcher at (519) 772-8787.
